Distribution lists

I tried and the recipient opened it and did a save and
close, but it does not appear in her contacts.

Any suggestions for sending a distribution list to someone?
 
Outlook?

Just drag it into your message (so it's an attachment).

then have the recipient drag the attachment to their contacts folder.
