Distribution list not working

I have one DL that does not work (Outlook 2003). It only contains 9
addresses. My other DL's work. I do not even get an error code. The
individual addresses work when sent separately, but not when sent as part of
DL.
 
In what terms doesn't it work?
When you press the + to expand the DL in the To field, does it show the
correct email addresses?
 
Yes it does show the correct addresses when I expand the list in the To
field. It shows up in the sent messages folder and everything. I even added
my email address to the DL and tested it and the message did not get through.
When I send to specific email addresses - they work.
