I have Office 2007. I want to use Word as my editor in Outlook for the
additional features. How do I install Word as the default editor?

Second question. How do I break down my distribution list into differnt
categories of contacts? Can I export the folder and then divide the contacts
into groups (or additional distribution lists)? The contacts are not
contained anywhere else but in the distribution list and I would prefer not
to have to re-enter the names and information.

Sorry to post two questions at once, and thanks in advance for any help.

You can't. Outlook 2007 already uses a stub of Word as the editor....

Save the distribution list as a txt file. Open in excel, save as a csv.
Then import into your Contacts.

Thanks much for your prompt reply!

Word is ALWAYS the editor in Outlook 2007. You don't have a choice.
