distribution groups dont appear

I have set up some new distribution groups and they are
not appearing in the GAL.
Also changes made to contacts in these groups are not
reflected when you view the contact properties through
outlook.

Im not really sure where to start looking - any ideas
would be appreciated

Hi,

Can you confirm that the Exchange Recipient Update Service is running? Try
running it manually in ESM and see if the updates become available in the
GAL.
