Distributed Lock Manager (DLM) for Windows

Hi,

Does Microsoft provide a DLM? If it does, I think it at least doesn't come
with MSCS. Any info on this?

And if Microsoft doesn't, is there any other vendor that provides a DLM for
Windows? And would that work in conjunction with MSCS or should it be used
separately?

Venkatesh,

MSCS is based on a "Shared Nothing" architecture in which each server owns
its own disk resources (that is, they share "nothing" at any point in time).
Microsoft does not provide a DLM.
