Distribute as Shareware

I have written a nice little application, and have been told that it might
be worth distributing as shareware.

I poked around in the VB.NET help file, but couldn't find any information on
the subject.

Does anybody know if this has been done before, and what the standard
schemes are?

Here a start link, I started with Nak and shareware, you can also start with
the name Nak alone, Nick as his name is, is been busy a while wiht that.
