Distant iinstallation

Hi to All,

I need to install .NET 2003 on the distant PC.
Using RDP I copied CD1+2+Prerequisites
on the hard disk, say in
d:\source\vs\cd1
d:\source\vs\cd2
d:\source\vs\prereq

After I have started installation from
d:\source\vs\cd1
, there are many errors pointing to the missing
files, starting with cpqstart.HxS. The problem
is perhaps in the installation process, that does
not recognize the copied content and tries to
find files on the copy of first CD (This is not
the case of prerequisite CD).

Any help or reference to kb? I have not googled
any usefull info.
