Cannot Properly Configure VS2005

When I open a previously created
solution it opens fine and I can edit and run it but when I attempt to Build
or Rebuild the Setup Project in that solution I get a popup saying "The
feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is
not available. Insert the 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional
Edition - ENU' and click OK." Since I bought the upgrade, I don't have a CD
labeled 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional
Edition - ENU' - my CDs are labeled "Disk 1 Visual Studio" and "Disk 2
Visual Studio". If I then insert my VS 2005 CD1 and click OK,
I get another popup saying"Error 1706. An installation package for the
product 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition -ENU' cannot be
found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation
package 'vs_setup.msi'" If I browse to the CD, that file is there. What does
it want?

Also, if I try to repair the install, It wants that same CD (which I don't
have) and it appears to be looking for a "vs" directory which is not on my CD.

How can I get this working correctly?

Thanks for the suggestions Ken. My problem is not with an Express Edition
but with Visual Studio 2005 Professional. When I browse through the folder
for that, there is no msi file?

Wayne,

Just contact Microsoft Support in your country/state whatever. It just can
be a bug you know (as it sounds for me).

Thanks for the response. I am in the US (Colorado) and have low confidence in
getting any response from Microsoft - but I'll give it a try!
