Aviation Navigation Formula needed for calculating
Distance/Heading from Latitude Longitude.

I need to calculate distance/heading from hundreds of
waypoints defined by their latitude and longitude.

Suggestions or assistance please.

Thank you.

Best source to learn the in and out's of your question is:
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/latlong.htm

--/snip/--
This page describes various methods for working with Latitude and Longitude
data in Excel.
North, South, East, And West

You will find it useful to treat Northern latitudes and Western longitudes
as positive, and Southern latitudes and Eastern longitudes as negative. You
may reverse this, if desired, but be sure to be consistent with all
coordinates.

Even has a Excel file workbook that lists the latitude and longitude for
some 1,200 US cities and towns.

Hope this helps,
Paul
