Displays Fonts Wrong

W

William Hamer

After installing CorelDRAW Essentials 2, I received a
warning that there was more than 500 fonts in the Fonts
Folder (actually there were 1,036 fonts). Without knowing
which fonts were required by Windows, I did not want to
arbitrarily delete any.

I created a Fontskeeper Folder and moved about 600 fonts
into it. Upon discovering that text displayed in every
program had changed I returned the fonts from Fontskeeper
to Fonts. However, the erroneous displays continue.

I have two questions:
1) How do I restore the fonts used (Restore did not work)?
2) How do I know what fonts to remove from the Font Folder?

Thank you for any help you may provide.

I solved the first question: I had not returned all of the
fonts from Fontskeeper to Fonts. I confused File names and
Font names (which only appear in the Fonts Folder).

Can anyone tell me how to know which fonts are not needed
so I may remove them from the Fonts Folder?
