Hi,
Technical books usually have the name of the current Level 1 heading (e.g.
"1 - Introduction") as the header of the page. Searching in Word 2003 and now
2007 I cant find a feature to do this automatically - the only way is to
create a section for each heading and then manually create a reference to the
heading - which is really laborious!

Is there a simple way???

Thanks,
Wolfgang

Use a StyleRef field. It has several switches, described in the Help topic
about this field, that determine what it displays.
