Displaying Jpegs on a web page!?

Hi all,

First time user, I am having a problem viewing some Jpegs on a web page, as
I enter the site the page downloads but all the JPG files are displayed as
white boxes with red crosses in them!!

How do i view these files?

Any help would be much appreciated!

This can occur if the registry values of:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.gif\Content_Type
or
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg\Content_Type

are set incorrectly. Quit IE, run regedit and find the 1st key.
Double-click Content Type value in right pane and type "image/gif"
without quotes in Value Data box. Do the same (only "image/jpg") for
the other key.

The most common reason - you've installed a firewall that has a privacy
option to "block" 3rd party cookies enabled. Normally the "ads" have
pictures so when you click on the picture you go to the advertiser's site.
The cookie stores the information where the picture is stored on the
advertiser's site, so when it is blocked, your browser doesn't know where to
go get the picture.
