displaying favorites

While playing around with favorites I obtained a window on the right side
"main" that showed a detailed listing of my favorites. Much better than that
on the left where all the subfiles are closed until opened. I have been
unable to duplicate this again and would appreciate the procedure.
I thought it might be related to Alan E. suggestion below to a favorites
question but I do not find that option listed. Using IE6.0 on a win 95
machine
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Advanced
The option is "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu"

I've never seen the Favorites listing on the right-hand side of the window. The only column of info available in this screen area was when MS was promoting the use of the Channel bar in the Active Desktop.

I don't know if you're going to find a solution for this, since you appear to have a non-standard configuration.

The minimum requirements for IE6 is (and always has been) Windows 98.

OOPS-That was a mindslip. I am using Win 98.
I will be staying in that op-system for some time until MS fixes XP to keep
hackers and viruses out better. Perhaps I would do better going to Malaysia
where you can buy a copy of Microsoft Longhorn for $2.60.
