Display Trouble

I can't seem to get more than 16-bit color and a very
crappy resolution rate. I downloaded what I believe to be
the correct monitor driver, however under the Advanced tab
in the Display properties, I can't click on the button to
install it; the button is greyed-out. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
