Trying to follow the gobbledegook in the MS Access help pages. Under
User-defined type not defined, it has this suggestion:

Display the References dialog box

Where the four and a half is this???

This should highlight the problem.

It could be something as simple as a mis-spelling or a missing reference in
tools

As mentioned in your other posting, the references dialog can be found
in the Tools menu when a code module is open.

Oh and I do like Douglas's word "disambiguating". In answer to your (almost)
the same post.


I just looked it up on Wikipedia

Disambiguation is the process of resolving conflicts in article titles that
occur when a single term can be associated with more than one topic. In many
cases, this same word or phrase is the natural title of more than one
article. In other words, disambiguations are paths leading to different topic
pages that share essentially the same term in their title.

For example, to create a link to Mercury, just put double square brackets
around the word — [[Mercury]] — producing Mercury. Now, Mercury is a
disambiguation page.
