display settings after bootup

i use device:display to set resolution to 1024x768, 16-bit, 75Hz.

After FBA i get somewhat smaller than 640x480.

Why?

device:display are you using PnP approach of installing video drivers?
If you are using componentized video drivers then device:display can have
setting collision with any video driver component settings.

Check your fba.log for info about the error.

Resolution smaller than 640x480 would be very strange.
Tell me something about your video card, type, and drivers you use.
