the other evening my computer was working fine, when i came in the next
morning my screen was smaller than usual. It doesnt fit the alloted space on
the desktop. I went to settings and display and its set at the highest one
1024x768 pixels. Yet there still is a large black space all around. Even when
i open up folders they stay in this small area... any ideas?!

Also when i used to close the lid on my computer it would hibernate, now it
wont. I went to change that setting and when i hit the drop down button there
was only 1 option listed "do nothing". Does anyone know how to fix that
either...

thanks

In all probability, the default is aresolution 800X600 and it fills
the screen. Odds are, change the resolution and all will be swell.

Good luck.

Yeah, i tried messing with the resolution sizes and this was as big as it
would go.... im quite puzzled as why it would do this.
