Dear All,

I want the XPe show 800*600 resolution in the first time.

How can I change the display resolution without display control panel?

Is it possible to set the display resolution in the target designer?

Hello,

Expand the component for your target's video adapter and click settings. In
the right pane you should see options for changing resolution, color depth,
and refresh rate.

Thanks for your support.
However, there is still a problem.
The XPe user VGASave not my display adapter's driver.
My display adapter is "Silicon Motion LynxEM".
And the driver is included in the XPE database.

Thanks for you all.

I have solved this problem.

I tried to fellow the steps of
http://msdn.microsoft.com/embedded/community/tips/xp/videores/default.aspx
but there is still a problem.

And now, I find the problem and the solution.

Let me explain my situation.

In the beginning, in order to minimize the image, I disable unused hardware
components and leave VGA driver.

However, no matter how I set in the VGA driver component, it has no effect.

" I try to enable some chip controller components and resolution setting
work!! "

Perhapse, MSDN can add this to the tips problem of
http://msdn.microsoft.com/embedded/community/tips/xp/videores/default.aspx .
