Display Properties

Hi,

When trying to alter the the display properties to
customize my desk top, etc. I have lost my Windows XP look
to my windows and buttons. Now, only the classic style is
displayed. I first went into the Display Properties
window then clicked on the "Appearance" tab. Under the
windows and buttons section the drop-down menu only
displays "Windows Classic Style" the other turns the
screen completely black. How do I get the Windows XP look
back to my windows and buttons?
