display properties problem. resolution much bigger than monitor s

I cant go back to adjust resolution on display properties window because of
the size of the window is bigger than the monitor screen
I tried uninstalling the display adapter driver and rebooting but xp
reinstalls the driver on the reboot

Press <alt|spacebar> simultaneously, then the letter M.

Then use the arrow keys to move the window to where its buttons are
accessible.
