Display Properties for Contacts

I am using Office 2000 Professional.
Can you help me change the default Display Properties for
Contact Names . I wish to file them by Last Name, First
Name .

If you want them to display by Last name in the Contacts folder then you
would need to change all the existing contacts manually using the File As
field in each contact and then for any new contacts you can go to Tools ->
Options and select Contact Options on the Preferences tab. You should then
be able to select the file by last name option. If you want to change how
they are displayed in the address book then you would need to go into the
Outlook Address Book properties and change the display settings.
