Check with your video card and/or game manufacturer. Not
an OS issue.
Just because it is a new computer doesn't mean the hardware won't fail.
In fact, if hardware is going to fail, it usually does so within the
first 3 months or it will last for years. The way to troubleshoot this
is to 1)attach the computer to a different monitor. If the problem
persists, then you know your monitor is fine and vice versa. Did you
change the gamma settings at all? Look under Display Properties and
check. Check that you don't have a third-party graphics program (like
Adobe Gamma or something from your video card maker) starting. If this
is really a case of "everything was fine yesterday, nothing was
changed, it doesn't work today" and the monitor is fine, then
immediately take the computer back to where you bought it or call their
tech support. This is probably a hardware failure.
