I have recentely started to use a new computer (its a stronger machine than
the one i've been using so far).
after installing XP on it, I've noticed that although the resolution of the
image on the monitor is good, the image tends to shake a little.
apart from that, if I attempt to scroll down in a window(e.g a web page, a
long word document), the page refreashes very slowly (the scrolling is slow,
and the new information is display one portion of the screen at a time)
I tried accessing my monitor settings in the device maneger - but its not on
the list
I tried going to the display settings->settings->advanced->monitor but the
properties button is disabled and I cant change the refreash rate .
How can I regain control over my monitor again :(

You have answered your own question. It's a new system, therefore posting
here isn't the right thing to be doing. You should be contacting the
manufacturer.
