Display PP presentaion on TV Screen

I am using PowerPoint 2003. Is it possible to make a presentation and view
on a large screen TV? I know I can put the .pps file on a CD but I know it
will not understand the format.

Is it possible to put on a CD or DVD and convert the format to something a
DVD player would understand. I have worked with PowerPoint less than two
weeks, and trying to understand its capabilities.

Sal, a couple of options...

- Save As to a graphic format your DVD player understands -- typically
JPEG -- and select "All Slides." PPT will create a folder for you with all of
the slides in numerical order. Depending on how your DVD player works, you
might need to rename the first 9 slides so the number is 2 digits instead of
1.

- If you're using a laptop... many laptops have an S-video output that you
may be able to connect directly to your TV or VCR.
