Display OLE-objects (.htm, .doc and .pdf) as part of report

Hello,

I have a database that includes a field where OLE objects are stored. These
can be different file types: most are .htm-files, but some are .pdf and
others .doc. What I would like to do, is to include the files in my report.
These objects need to be part of the report though, and not printed
separately. If they are displayed on separate problems, that's no problem.

Any suggestions are most welcome!

Best regards,

AFAIK it cannot be done within the report, period. Even printing them
outside of the report would be an issue. You would require a hidden form
containing a bound OLE Frame control, activate each embedded object, then
use Automation to ask the OLE Server app associated with the object to
render itself to the printer. Easy for DOC files, quite simple for HTM
files, no experience with PDF files.

Hi Stephen,

My doc files have several pages. But in the report, one page can be
displayed or printed. Only in the table the whole document can be displayed
by double clicking the OLE object.

Do you know how can resolve the problem?

Thanks,
Shouming
