In Windows Explorer, files and folders are listed descending alphabetically.
I want them to be listed ascending alphabetically. Rearranging the listing
works in the current view, but when I return after exiting, it's back to
descending alphabetically. How can change this so that all files and folders
listings appear as I want them? Thanks.

Set the view the way you want it, then go to Tools, Folder Options, Apply to All Folders. The use File, Close to close the Explorer Window.

Thanks, Doug.
