Display Last Name, comma, First Name in "Select Name" list for ema

I've tried every combination I can think of to get the show the last name,
followed by a comma, then the first name in the drop down list of contacts I
get when I click "To" for a new email. All I can get is the last name
followed by a space, then the first name. When I go to contacts, the names
are listed just as I want them, in alphabetical order by last name, followed
by a comma, then the the first name.

Appreciate the help!

No help is possible until you post your Outlook version and the sort order
you specified for the Outlook Address Book.
