Display images from Access records

I have an access db with images in one of the fields and when I display the
record in a frontpage results page the images doesn;t display just the words
binary something.

What should I do to display the images are can't it be done.

Don't put the actual images in the db, just the url to the image...store the
images in a folder somewhere.

It can be done but it is much simpler to store the path to the images
in the DB instead of the actual images.

Thanks for the suggestion the images were put in the access db using a
program called asprunner and in that progam allows them to be displayed in it
results sheet. I was hoping that I might be able to extract them in some way
in a better designed form.

I will use the method you have described but it means extracting the images
using this program and manually linking them which takes awau the automation
of the site but if that is yjre only way to achieve it I will have to live
with it.

Thank you for your reply and the information has been printed. Is there an
article that would explain the other method if so a link would be
appreciated. I will probably have to rewrite the code to suit the storage
outside the database but would appreciate it if I could know how to achieve
the result by both methods.
