Yeah, I know about the inf file, it just appears to be
corrupted and no matter how many times i have deleted the
inf files and reinstalled them the damn error still occurs.
By the way rostik, can you start the PC up in safe mode?
maybe the graphics drivers will work in that.

I tried that, didn't work. I'm doing back up of my
important files to another hard drive, so i will just
format my current drive and make a fresh copy of XP. Doh!
