Display column labels vertically instead of horizontally in Excel?

Hi

select the cells, choose format /cell from the menu, go to the alignment tab
and either choose the vertical setting or play with the little dial.

In Excel I'd like my column labels to display vertically instead of the
regular horizontal -- is there a way to do that?
 
Does Format | Cell | Alignment provide what you are looking for? The
Orientation of the text might do what you want.
