Display BCC adresses in Sent folder - HELP

I have tried everything and can't find the BCC adresses I sent an email to in
the Sent folder.
I have tried opening, and resend. I have tried customizing views, and
adding BCC field. And anything else Google directed me to.
I am using Gmail IMAP, through Outlook 2007.
Any help learning how these BCC's could be dispalyed would be great.

For the item in the Sent Items folder, open it in its own windows
(double-click it). If Bcc was used to send that item, the Bcc list will
show up.

You can't display the Bcc field except by opening the message. They don't
show in a folder view.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's just the thing, the BCC field doesn't
even show up when I open the message into it's own window????

Why would it show up? There?s nothing to see in it!

Only time you?ll see the BCC field is when you *create* an email, and
turn it on (show BCC). As that?s the only time you?ll use it. (That
said, it?s also visble in sent items on emails you?ve used BCC).

That's the entire point. It does NOT show up in sent items on emails that I
used Bcc. I can send Bcc, I just can't ever see who i sent the email to Bcc
(whether in sent folder or opened in own window).

Do you see the Bcc field but it's empty or do you not see the Bcc field?

K, just noticed you said an IMAP connection to Gmail. I can only assume
this is a G-mail problem or limitation.

Test with a (local) PST file / dummy POP a/c, if you like. I?m sure
that?d work fine as the default email a/c (sending a/c). Your sent
items (if sending email to BCC recipients) would correctly show the BCC
info.

You can click Options and click Show Bcc in the Fields chunk.

I looked everywhere for the View --> Bcc and I can't find anything in the
View menu that leads to Bcc. Not even anything Greyed out. In fact, on the
open window with the email that I used Bcc there isn't even a View menu item.
I end up looking back in the main Outlook window for the View menu.

I promise I am not trying to be stubborn, and I actually can get around on a
computer pretty well, I just can't find this.

some way to make that field appear. It just isn't there, it's not even just

Unlike the other Office 2007 components that got encumbered with the context
sensitive ribbon bar, Outlook 2007 kept the menu bars that were present in
the 2003 and earlier versions. However, that applies only the main UI for
Outlook 2007. When you open an item in its own window, it has the ribbon.

You must already be aware of the ribbon in dialog windows because getting
the Bcc field to show when composing a new e-mail requires that you had to
navigate under the Options tab of the ribbon bar. The default of Outlook is
to NOT show the Bcc field, so you had to use the ribbon bar to add it in
order for you to specify any Bcc'ed recipients. On why Bcc was not shown be
default, read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299804.

I just did a test of OL2007 in a virtual machine. By default OL2007 does
not include the display of the Bcc field when you are composing an e-mail.
You have to add it by using the Options tab of the ribbon bar. After
sending a test e-mail in which a Bcc recipient was specified, I had to do
nothing to show the Bcc list other than opening the sent item in its own
window. By default (and I don't know that you can configure otherwise), the
Bcc field will be shown in the headers area if the Bcc field had been used.
You don't have to manually add the display of the Bcc field. If Bcc was
used, it is shown in the headers when you open that item in its own window.

So it could be that you thought you had included Bcc'ed recipients but did
not. Or you ran into the behavior where Outlook will not display
ridiculously long field values because the entire dialog would get filled up
with its value. The trick is to Resend the message (just to display the
new-mail dialog and not really send it) to see the contents of the Bcc field
that had been used before. See:

I had the same question recently. I had to open the message in my sent
folder in order to see the BCC entries. The messages involved were all
using POP3 accounts so you may not have the same results for an IMAP
account but I thought it might help you.

Once you enable showing it, it should be visible from then on.

There must be something else going on, because I can't view BCC recipients, either. I have tested this twice, making sure to include someone in the BCC field, and I cannot see any option, whether in my viewing pane or after opening the email, to view the BCC recipients.Someone mentioned on another website that having an IMAP connection vs. a POP3 connection may be an issue. What do you think?
