diskcleanup

My friend moved diskcleanup to his desk top. Now it does
not work. We tried reinstalling it with addremove programs
but that did not work. Any ideas?

Try This. Go to My Computer. Right-Click on drive then
select properities. Under the gerneral tab by the pie
graph there should a Disk Cleanup Button. See if that
works.

First look in the folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32 and see if
you see the file cleanmgr.exe. If found double click on
it to see if it starts up.

If you don't find it, copy the file off the desktop and
paste it to this folder.

None of the diskcleanup shortcuts work. Not even the exe
file in C:\WINDOWS\system32 (cleanmgr.exe) works, that's
why I tried reinstalling from addremove. I'm stumped. I
don't really want to do a clean install just to make this
one exe file work.
