I go to My Computer and click on C:\ and it's telling me I have 21 Gigs of
used space. I double click on my C:\ and click on select all and go to
properties and it's telling me I have 12 Gigs. What am I missing here?

are you sure you aren't reading the screen from right to left? lol J K

No Matter The Problem Even With Linux, It's Microsoft's And Windows's Faults

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely
foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Most likely, a large part of the "missing" data is the hidden files that you
do not have selected when you select all. The hibernation file and the
virtual memory file, in particular, will add up to several gigs in most
cases.

Then there's files in the recycle bin, and a few other system folders that
are hidden.

In my system, C: properties says 22.5GB used, properties of all the
folders/files visible on C: says 14.9

Don't sweat it. There's plenty of real problems out there waiting to bite
you.
