Disk partition is always checked for errors on bootup

On booting up, I always get the message that one of my partitions needs
to be checked for errors. There's nothing wrong with the disk or the
partition per se- but still this happens. Is it being marked as 'dirty'
somewhere that needs to be reset?
I'm running XP SP2 with all recent patches, and cannot move to SP3 due
to corporate IT policy currently blocking it.

you should simply move
the data somewhere
else, then delete the
partition and recreate
it.

Hi Rex,

Do any of the suggestions here help?
