Disk Mirroring

Mirroring one IDE disk to another. I've done this many
times, but this time the disk mirror option is grayed
out. How do I get the disk I want to mirror to back to
an unallocated space condition? It was a dynamic disk at
one time on another system and I reverted it to a basic
on this one, then back to dynamic, etc. I believe the
problem is that the drive I want to mirror does not see a
disk with unallocated space.

Make certain the mirror disk is totally unallocated by deleting any
partitions on it. Also convert it to dynamic.
