Disk Fragmentation

My disk fragments far quicker under XP-pro than it did in
Win98SE. Example: I defragged 2 weeks ago to 0%
framented. Two days ago it was at 40%. Nothing except
Norton VirusScan and Windows updates has been added to
that disk and very little work done. Any ideas?
 
Karl,

If you have System Restore enabled, then this is likely the biggest culprit
for the high rate of re-fragmentation.
