disk formatting Please Help

Im a bit new to all of this. Im interested in setting up
some different disk formats on my computer, but I don't
relaly know what to do. What are the differences between
logical drives, extended partition and primary
partitions. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: MANAGEMENT CONSOLE
and hit enter. Several helpful topics will magically appear.

The only way you can create, delete, resize or merge existing partitions,
and not harm your existing Windows XP installation, is to use
a third-party partitioning program such as Partition Magic 8
(www.powerquest.com).
