Are there any limitations to the size of a partition that
Microsoft's disk deframenter tool can handle? We have
some very large partitions (50-120gb) and it was taking
hours to complete. I am wondering if I need another tool
such as Disk keeper.
Thanks.

You should get either DiskKeeper or PerfectDisk. Both are good, and will
work much more quickly and completely, particulary on large partitions,
and/or partitions with relatively little free space.

I have both -- they each have their strengths and weaknesses, but DK has an
option to defrag whent he system is not busy (screensaver mode) which is
quite usefull. PD does a better job on defragging directories, and
metadata.

You might also make sure those partitions are not too full, and run
chkdsk from time to time. Not enough free space can reeeeally slooow
defragging down. And next the overall daily performance starts to slow up.
