Disk Cleanup

I am having a problem getting Disk cleanup to run. When
I click it on my Start menu it doesn't go anywhere. When
I finally get it to go it starts and produces 2 bars then
freezes. I went into Windows Explorer and tried to
delete Applog like the Help and Support thingy says to do
and I don't see Applog. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.
