Disk cleanup won't run

I've tried everything that I know, but disk cleanup won't run. It starts searching but it doesn't go to the next screen. I wait for about 10 minutes but still nothing happens and there is not that much stuff on my computer. Can someone please help me figure this out so that I can run disk cleanup? Thanks

Try going to run,type:cmd in cmd type:cleanmgr If the problem still exist,clos
cmd,re-open cmd,type:Sfc /Scannow When the graph starts,install xp cd,exit th
info page.When its thru,type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart then type:EXI
Remove xp cd,restart computer,run the DOS window in Min.,sometimes the grap
runs behind it the first time.
