Hi there,
last week I ran disk check on my win2k pc.
It ran ok on the "d" drive which is the 2nd partition on the disk with no
probs but when i tried to run it on "c" I got (upon restart before running
disk check) the error message "cannot open volume for direct access".
The other more annoying problem is that every time restart it still tries to
run disk checker and gives me the same error even though I havent asked it
to run.
Does anyone know how to stop it from running?
Cheers,

ps. both are basic ntfs partitions approx 4 gig each with over 30% free on
both.
