Disk C Clean up

I compress files all the time in OE, especially newsgroups, but as far as
Disk C Clean up, I have been told not to compress those files. What's the
opinion of the MS MVP's?

If you compress those files, you'll be compressing actual program files, that you haven't used in a while.
