After doing an analysis on the c disk one gets the pretty colored bar. Can
I assume that the left hand side represents the beginning of the disk and
the right the end of it? If so, is it possible to determine what data or
files are within the individual contiguous, fragmented and unmoveable
sections?----- frank

If you talking about disk defragmenter red stands for
fragmentenet files. Blue for contiguous file (non
fragmented and unmovable( windows files, pagegiles ect)
or you could view a report. This isn't rocket science.

larry, thanks for the reply but my question is not about the color code but
the positioning and if there is a way to determine what data or files are in
the individual positions
