Hi,
I have a strange problem on XP Prof SP2 startup.
CPU works at 4-8 % (services.exe process)
RAM is normally
Anyway my PC works for about 5-10 minute very very slow beacuse HD works at
maximum.
I have noticed that if I unplug the network cable, the problem doesn't occur.
I think that the services.exe process is the cause of the problem because
investigating with a disk sniffer program, this process reads a lot of dlls
and files.
Can you help me?
thanks

Is this services.exe that's running located in the %WinDir%\System32\
folder? If not then it's malware.

yes it is located in that folder.
I have also check my pc for malware but nothing is there.
