Is it still booting to the OS?
Have you recently installed a controller card?
What were you doing prior to this happening? Or you just happened to
notice it?

That is determined by which Connection on the motherboard and which is
Master or Slave.

If you just change them on the connections - it will not boot.

I am using an ATA/PCI Adapter Card for the third hard drive.
My third disk was not working so I just replaced the ribbon cable
which fixed the problem and I just noticed that this happened.

Unless you are running a multi boot system then I don't think I'd really
worry about it if it's working. I'm not really sure but I wonder if your
PCI adapter card is a Siig, or Sil?? Just a guess..... ;0)
Now I'm not sure(almost positive) but in the future if you ever had to
do a Full reinstall of your OS having Disk0 on the 3rd drive assigned
may confuse the install as I believe, natively, Windows OS's seek out
Disk0....
