Discussion Web Search fails

I just set up my first discussion web, and entered a message. Now, when I try
to search for that message, I get:

Error from search: Service is not running.

I'm guessing I have to talk to my server administrator, but I don't know
what to tell him. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Contact your ISP / WPP to see if MS Indexing service is running
