Discussion server

I have RR. Recently something happened so when I click on
the explorer icon, a box comes up that says choose a
discussion server. I can see RR running in the background
but it won't let me click on anything or choose anything.
I have to do a contl/alt/delete to get rid of the box.
What has happened?
