When I make an mapped drive on my brand new Windows 2000 server, to another
server, it will not retain that drive after a certain amount of time.

I have found a document in the KB that shows how to mannipulate the registry
so you have to input 8 f's in a certian key. Did that, but it does not help
at all.

Does anybody know how this can be diversed?

Thanks in advance.

PS: The servers connected to are NT4 servers, and other W2K servers.

See tip 19 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com
Do it on all computers that have shares.
You must restart for the setting to take effect.
