disc tool

In XP there was a tool for error checking: Right click the
drive-properties-tools error checking. Then you had to restart the computer.
Is there something similar in Vista and if so, where?

Hi,

Same tool, called chkdsk. Right click the drive, choose properties, go to
the tools tab.
