Disc cleanup

I'm having the same problem with Disc cleanup hanging up or not starting at all. How do I fix this? Please help.

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.
